Mureed Study Circles and Candidate Classes

The Awakening Heart Circle centre conducts Study Circles for initiates, and Candidate Classes for those who would like to learn more about the esoteric school and/or are considering initiation. Both the Candidates' and Study Circle classes focus on the fundamental practices and the study of the Order's esoteric papers. Practice areas include work with breath, concentration, sound, light and meditation. The esoteric papers focus on the teachings of Pir-O-Murshid Hazrat Inayat Khan specially given to initiates and candidates for initiation.

An annual Introductory Meeting is held each September for the upcoming round of Study Circles, which each run for a year. Participants generally must join a Circle from its start in September/October.
